Cockatiel Cowl
This Tunisian crochet cowl was a quick pleasure to create. It’s so squishy and airy, and yet it blocks out chilly winds very well.
It can be worked up in as many colors as you like. I have done a two and four color version, as I think it shows off the architecture of the full stitch best. Tunisian full stitch utilizes the spaces between posts of stitches.
For this lovely gray and pastel version, I used one skein of the Manos del Uraguay Serpentina, and a bit more than one of the Woolfolk Luft.
It can be shortened to make a child-sized version. It can be adapted for a super bulky version.
Special thanks to fiber space™ in Alexandria, VA for being a great place to take my photos and the best place to buy my yarn.
