Cockatoo
by Kerri Brown
A free version is also available.
This is the pattern for a cockatoo appliqué. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry.
There is also a video tutorial for the pattern available on my YouTube channel at Crochet Cockatoo Tutorial.
I’ve used 4 ply cotton and a 1.25mm crochet hook but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.
-
I used white, yellow, grey and brown 4 ply crochet cotton.
-
A crochet hook, I used a 1.25mm hook.
-
Scissors.
-
Thread and sewing needle to stitch the cockatoo together.
-
Darning needle to weave in ends.
-
Black sewing or embroidery cotton to embroider on the eye or a bead if you prefer.
