Cockburn Scarf
The Cockburn Scarf features alternating blocks of moss and rib stitch neatly trimmed in an I-cord border. The I-cord is created as you knit from cast-on to bind-off. A small provisional cast-on and final graft allow the border to flow seamlessly from start to finish. While not identical to the front, the back is equally attractive. For best results, use wool or a wool blend that will respond to blocking.
