Newborn Baby Hat-Knitting Pattern

Materials needed.
-4 sock needles
-10g sock wool
-1 wool needle for sewing in ends

Cast on 70stitches
Space these out along three needles as follows 23, 24, 23
Knit 1, Purl 1 for 5 rounds
Knit for 23 rounds
Knit 5, knit 2 together. Repeat till end of round
Knit 1 round
Knit 4, knit 2 together
Knit 1 round
Knit 3, knit 2 together
Knit 1 round
Knit 2, knit 2 together
Knit 1 round
Knit 1, knit 2 together
Knit 1 round
Knit 2 together for full round
Cut yarn, about 20cm.
Thread on needle for sewing up.
Thread needle through all remaining stitches, pull thread though and pull tight. This will pull all the stitches tight and close the top hole.
Sew in the thread and bottom thread.

The hat may look small but stretches a great deal.
