This simple but effective shawl design is made asymmetrically but because the crochet maths works out it finishes as a symmetrical triangular shape. It uses a combination of UK groups of 3 trebles and linen stitch or US groups of 3 double crochets and linen stitch and finishes with a fairly straightforward but very pretty border.

One 1000m cake of 4 ply yarn is sufficient to make the shawl and add tassels if desired. As there are lots of YouTube videos on how to make tassels, instructions are not included in the pattern.
