Coco Loco Shawl
The Story
Named for Herb Alpert’s jaunty Coco Loco tune, this shawl creates a festive air. Its unique elongated curved triangle shape can be worn with the point at the front or back - the unusual shape places the point off-centre to create elegant diagonal lines. For variety, change the frequency of the stripes or add more than one coordinating colour. The possibilities are endless!
Pattern Notes:
Coco Loco is a boomerang (curved triangular) shawl
knit flat on a circular needle. One variegated yarn and a coordinating solid-coloured yarn are worked in a graduated stripe pattern. Unused yarn is loosely carried up the side of the work.
A Long Tail Cross Over Cast On begins this shawl (pattern includes instructions as well as the video link). The pattern stitch is an easy four-row repeat – fun, easy and so many colourful possibilities!
