COCO THE KOALA

Coco the Koala loves climbing trees and hanging out with his friends in the Australian outback. His favourite food is of course eucalyptus leaves, but don’t worry if you don’t have any to hand, he’s happy to eat whatever you have available!

SIZE AND GAUGE

Coco measures approximately 28cm (11”) tall when standing and 18cm (7”) when sitting if made with DK yarn and a 3mm crochet hook.

Gauge - 5cm across over rounds 1-6.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS

  • 3mm crochet hook
  • 3 balls of Ricorumi yarn in shade 004 - Pearl Grey (DK weight, 100% cotton, 25g/58 metres)
  • 1 ball of Ricorumi yarn in shade 002 - Cream (DK weight, 100% cotton, 25g/58 metres)
  • Small amount of Ricorumi yarn in shade 060 - Black (DK weight, 100% cotton, approx. 5 metres needed)
  • Soft toy stuffing
  • Yarn needle
  • A pair of 10mm safety eyes
