Purl stitch clusters are nestled between rib columns to produce a fabric with sculptural effect. Knit in the round, the project includes fun techniques for increasing and decreasing stitches. Working the opposite stitch pattern creates a collar that fits over the main body of the cowl and forms a scalloped top edge when turned over.
