Cocoon or Chrysalis
by Rochelle Ham
This is the pattern for a cocoon/chrysalis to go with the Very Hungry Caterpillar set I’ve been making for my little one. It’s large enough so that both the caterpillar and butterfly can fit in together - this way the caterpillar can go in and the butterfly then gets pulled out. It also has a draw string to close the cocoon and can be hung up.
The pattern is worked in the round holding two strands of slightly different coloured DK wool, this allows a mottled more natural colour to form.
It’s one size, but can be easily tweaked to make larger/smaller to suit your own needs!
