Cocoon Stitch Socks
I love super-stretchy socks but sometimes plain ribbing is too boring. This stitch is ribbing with increase and decreases arranged to make an undulating line of knit stitches that surrounds little cocoons of purls. It’s fun to work and a great choice for gift knitting. These socks are worked cuff down with a French heel and a round toe that doesn’t require grafting with Kitchener stitch.
