Cocuzza
When the weather turns cool, I reach for aran weight accessories. Cocuzza is a warm, soft accessory designed to show off an intricate lace pattern in an aran weight yarn. Who says that just because it’s winter, we can’t wear lace!
Finished Measurements: (height x circumference) Approximately 9” x 48” (23 cm x 122 cm)
Yarn: 300 yds/274 m of aran weight yarn. Shown using Kismet Fiber Works Abundant Aran (181 yds/165 m per 100g skein), 80% Merino, 10% Nylon, 10% Cashmere. Color: Toasted Oats, 2 skeins.
Needles: US#9/5.5 mm straight or circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 16 sts/20 rows = 4”/10 cm after blocking. Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage.
Notions: Crochet hook, waste yarn, and tapestry needle.
Charted and written instructions.
