Complex pattern based on a set of codes. The beret starts with a lovely 1 and 1 Fair isle rib edge and then moves in to an abstract section using only 2 colours in each row. A mixture of stranding and weaving is used. Comments from everyone who has sampled this design are that it is a joy to knit and really fun. 3 sizes of needles are used. I prefer a mixture of circular and shorter dpn’s for the crown. 3 gauges. Only 3 balls of 50grs each are needed and the beret has been designed to have enough left over to knit the matching sister design Coda Snood. Various colour schemes are available and recommended.
