Welcome Crocheters! Today it’s my turn to share a brand new free pattern with you, as part of the Autumn Accessories Make Along. My Cody Hat pattern is designed using King Cole Merino Blend DK Yarn 3 and a 5 mm (H) hook.

I’ve made this pattern available in sizes baby to adult, for free in my post.

Supplies:
Yarn: DK Weight Yarn King Cole Merino Blend DK 1.76 oz (50 g) / 115 yds (104 m) 100% Pure New Wool
Colors: 2 skeins in Carnation (Shade 3090) or 2 skeins in Irish Navy (Shade 52)

Hook: 5 mm (H)

Finished Project (prototype samples):
Child (6-10 years) hat (Irish Navy): 2.04 oz (58 g) and 133 yds (121 m);
Small Child hat (Carnation) 1.83 oz (52 g) and 119 yds (108 m).

Notions: Scissors, Yarn Needle, Stitch Marker

Difficulty Level: Easy

Finished Size: This hat is designed between mid-ear and the base of the earlobe.

For sizes Preemie to 12-24 months, you will need 1 skein of your chosen color of yarn. For sizes Small Child (3-5 years) to Adult Large, you will need 2 skeins of your chosen color of yarn.
