Cofaidh, Scots Gaelic for “Coffee” is a crescent-shaped shawl with classic delicate details, a textured body, and distinct lace to create a versatile wardrobe accessory, perfect for dressing up with your fancy garbs or down with a t-shirt and jeans for your next outing. As always, this pattern is easy to memorize once you begin, creating a meditative and relaxing knit experience, perfect for alongside morning coffee (or tea) or in those quiet moments.
DETAILS:
Yarn: 640 m/ 700 yards/ 160 g of Fingering Weight Yarn
Specific Yarn Used in Sample: 2 skeins of Fiber Art’s Studio Sparkle Sock yarn “Coffee Time” by Yoriko Oki
Needles: 3.5mm / US Size 4 circular needles, 32” minimum length.
Notions: Stitch Marker, blocking tools and tapestry needle.
Gauge: (blocked) 22 sts x 56 rows in Sl st body pattern
Finished Measurements: 250 cm/ 100” wingspan with a 46 cm/ 18” depth in the centre.
