Coffee All Day Long Shawl
This shawl is an adaptation of the Third Cup of Coffee Shawl made as a triangle. You will totally enjoy the process of picking the colors that pop with each other and watching the design grow. It is really hard to put down, once you’ve started.
The Pattern is easy enough to memorize yet interesting enough that you won’t get bored.
So many different shawls that can be made from this pattern from Large to ‘Not So Large’.
2 skeins are used to knit up the version that are dyed to pool with at least 1/3 and up to 1/2 of the skein dyed in a solid pooling color. In this version, you just knit all the ridges in garter that would have had a color change.
For the Large, you will need 2 skeins of the main color and one skein for the CC 1. CC2 and CC3 use not quite 1/2 a skein.
The largest shawl can measure up to 89” in wingspan and 40” in length.. you can change this by going up or down with your needle size.
The ‘Not So Large’ Size measure a Wingspan of 63” by 30” inches in length and does not require a 2nd skein of the MC. Especiallly if you go down a needle size.
Gauge is not super important but does make a difference on the amount of fiber used and how the shawl drapes.
