The Coffee Bean Hat has a fun, repeated combination of stitches that create great texture resembling rows of coffee beans. This pattern is appropriate for the Intermediate knitter.

The pattern is written for Adult M/L (circumference of 22-23”) and can be resized using smaller or larger needles. Instructions are included for worsted, light bulky, bulky, and super bulky yarns. It features photo tutorials and links to instructional videos for the special stitches, as well as a user-friendly format with checkboxes for tracking repeated rows.

16” circular needles are needed in the following sizes:

  • Worsted - US 7/4.5mm for brim and US 8/5mm for body
  • Light Bulky - US 9/5.5mm for brim and US 10/6mm for body
  • Bulky - US 10/6mm for brim and US 11/8mm for body
  • Super Bulky - US 13/9mm for brim and US 15/10mm for body
