Coffee Shop Cap
The Coffee Shop Cap is a warm beanie to make for running to town for your favorite cup of java. This hat has a unique crown and is created on the Flexee Loom Links Chunky loom. The special double decreasing crown construction is most suited to an intermediate loom knitter. This design makes a really cute “+” on the top of the hat and the crown doesn’t “swirl” like so many decreasing crown designs do.
The Coffee Shop Cap uses two yarns:
Main Color (Color A) - approximately 90 yards of a #5 bulky weight, acrylic/wool blend yarn. Bergere de France’s Alaska 50% acrylic/50% wool yarn in the Perdrix colorway was used in the sample.
Stripe Color (Color B) – approximately 20 yards of a #5 bulky weight, acrylic/wool blend yarn. Lion Brand’s Hue + Me 80% acrylic/20% wool yarn in the Shadow colorway was used in the sample.
This pattern is suitable for an intermediate loom knitter.
