The smell of freshly brewed coffee and baked bread can easily lighten up any not-so-perfect day. With their lace and cable stitch pattern, which is much easier than it looks, the Coffee Steam socks are a treat to knit, cosy to wear and will give you the extra dose of caffeine all day long.

Worked from the toe-up, they feature a mirrored diagonal stitch pattern on the top of the foot.

The pattern is available in three foot circumferences and instructions are provided to adjust your socks to any foot length.

Yarn needed
320 - 375 m / 350 - 410 yds of fingering weight yarn.
Sample yarn: 1 skein of The Uncommon Thread Tough Sock, col. Nutcracker (80% Blue Faced Leicester, 20% nylon - 365 m / 400 yds & 100 g per skein)
