• Pure Laine des Alpes Maritimes (100% wool ; 80 m / 100 g), 1 skein for small and buttoned cowl, 3 skeins for long cowl
• 10mm needles
• cable needle
• 3 buttons (for buttoned version)

for no-button versions:

• spare needle (12mm or smaller size)
• 10mm crochet hook for provisional cast on
• piece of scrap yarn for provisional cast on
