As a self-declared “Elder Emo,” this pattern is an ode to MySpace, black eyeliner, and skinny jeans; and an FU to sappy love-centered holidays, rom-coms, and social media engagement ring photos.

This pattern is an advanced beginner, stranded colourwork design.
Works up in approx. 1-2 hours.
Includes both charted & written instructions.

SIZE:
Adult: ~ 9” tall x 9” wide To fit 19” - 22” head circumference

GAUGE:
11 sts and 13 rows = 4x4” / 10x10 cm in Stockinette worked flat on US 15/ 10mm

YARN:
Recommended yarn: Wool Ease Thick & Quick
Super Bulky Yarn (weight 6) in two contrasting colours
Main colour: ~ 65 yards (92g)
Contrast colour: ~ 25 yards (40g)

NEEDLES:
US 13 / 9 mm, 16” circular needles
US 15 / 10 mm, 16” circular needles & DPNs or size needed to obtain gauge

NOTIONS:
Tapestry Needle
Stitch Marker
Scissors
Pom pom (optional)

Pattern is worked in the round from brim to top and repeat is 12 stitches.
