You can make either a kerchief or a stole, using this pattern. The chart is designed for you to choose the required breadth and length of your work, the minimum size being 18x18 teeth.
The yarn for the kerchief (stole) is to be natural approximately 600m in 100g of yarn. For openworked kerchief (stole) the yarn should be longer, beginning from 1000m in 100g. You may use your favourite needle size.

My kerchief of 22x22 teeth is made with needles №1,75 of 1100m of yarn, its length being 1400m in 100g. You may need more or less yarn, depending upon your manner of knitting, yarn length and needle size.My kerchief is 120x120cm.
