This oversized crochet cardigan pattern is a beginner crochet pattern which features a cold shoulder opening so you can show off the straps of your summer tops!

The oversized shape makes it a great all weather addition to your handmade wardrobe and made using DK (Size 3 yarn), it creates a light weight, breathable top which is flattering on any body shape from XS-5XL.

It’s an easy crochet pattern to follow and quick to work up due to it’s open crochet fabric.

All my patterns are fully tested and editing for accuracy and to ensure they are suitable for beginners.

This cardigan is oversize with a positive ease of 12 inches. You can easily make a more fitted cardigan than selecting a size smaller.

XL - 44-46 inches
2XL- 48-50 inches
3XL - 52-54 inches
