This elongated triangular shawl uses the sequence knitting technique described in Sequence Knitting by Cecelia Campochiaro.
No special skills are required, just knitting, purling, and increasing by knitting into the front and back of a stitch. Because construction is from the bottom up, you can stop knitting whenever you are happy with the size or run out of yarn. This also means it can be worked in any weight. The shawl shown was knit with one overweight skein of Yowza (DK-weight) on US 6/4 mm needles and measures approximately 68” across and 20” deep after a gentle blocking.
Instructions are provided in 3 different formats so you can find what works best for you.
For best results, choose a solid or semi-solid colorway that allows the texture to shine.
Sample was knit in Miss Babs Yowza in Dark Adobe
