Coleridge is knit in two pieces, worked from each end and grafted in the center. Striking peacock-feather lace motifs transition gradually into ever-simpler patterns, ending in a stockinette panel at the center back. Knit and purl stitches, as well as tiny 3-stitch bobbles, add texture and dimension to the fabric.

Instructions are given for two sizes – a scarf and a wider rectangular shawl.
