Sweet collar with embroidered rosette in “trompe l’oeil” style.
The collar has a narrow fit and is knitted from the backpiece, over to the frontpiece. Stitches (sts) are picked up along the sides of the collar and around the neckline and knitted in rib.
The rosette is embroidered on top of the finished collar, using duplicate sts.

Size S-M (M-L). Length 40 (43) cm (mesure of the front piece without polo). Width 36 (38)cm.
Pattern includes pictures and diagram that makes it simple and fun to follow.

Techniques
Shoulders are shaped using short rows, for example. ”german shortrows”. For cast on and ending of ribbing, Italian cast on and Italian cast off is used. Increases are made with ”make one right” (M1R), ”make one right purl” (M1R-P), that is made in the same way as M1R but on the wrong side. The decreases are made using ”knit two together” (k2tog) and ”purl two together” (p2tog).
The rosette is embroidered on top of the finished mitten, using duplicate sts.
