Circular knitting needle size 7 (4.5 mm), 36 in. (91.5 cm) long

Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.

Afghan is worked in 3 strips. Strips are seamed together, then stitches are picked up to work a Seed stitch border along all sides.

Solid color blocks are worked in stockinette. Color pattern blocks incorporate 2-color work (slip stitches with yarn in front or back).
