This square was designed for a friend, a fellow raveler. In the group Friends Crocheting Together and More, we are having a monthly swap of 12” squares. For July I was sending to Colleen and I was trying to decide what to make. I sat down with her favorite colors and just started crocheting. This square is the result of that.

Square measures 12” using an H/5.00 mm hook and worsted weight yarn.
Uses approx 1.2 oz of white and 1.7 oz of blue (or your choice of colors)

I rate this pattern as intermediate level, due to the stitches that are used.
mr – magic ring
ch - chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
trc – treble crochet
qc – quadruple crochet
flo – front loop
blo – back loop
slst – slip stitch
f/o – fasten off
fpdc – front post double crochet
bpsc – back post single crochet
dc-sp – double crochet spike stitch
s-dc – standing double crochet
s-sc – standing single crochet
cc – change color
