This pattern is temporarily closed for re-decoration :)

Inspired by old college style jerseys, this pattern can be knitted in dress or sweater length.
It is knit circular from the bottom up and then divided for flat knitting at the armholes.
The pattern includes charts for numbers 0 - 9 so that the knitter can choose their own number to go on the chest.
Techniques
It is a simple pattern but it requires:
wrap & turn, (a great technique, worth learning if you don’t know how and there are many tutorials on the internet).
3 needle bind-off, (explained in the pattern).
The numbers can be created using Intarsia and/or stranded colourwork or Duplicate Stitch if the knitter prefers, (there is a Duplicate Stitch photo-tutorial on the Theatreofyarns website www.theatreofyarns.com).
