College Station is the name of this large size blanket knitted all in one piece. When you are finished, nothing needs to be sewn together! College Station is also the home of Texas A&M University. The pattern forms a sort of plaid using only knit and purl stitches. This is a simple pattern that a Beginner can follow. College Station works up to be about 57” by 77” which is just slightly smaller than the 60” by 80” top of a queen size bed. It uses Super Bulky yarn and large needles (a minimum length of 29” circulars or standard 14” straights will work too).
