Een paar heerlijke wantjes met verrassende details. Ze zijn dubbellaags dus lekker warm en ze zitten als gegoten.

Aan de buitenkant zie je horizontale strepen die recht zijn gebreid. Bij de kleurovergang zie je een smalle inkeping waardoor een leuk reliëf ontstaat met een gewatteerd effect. Bij de binnenkant kijk je aan tegen averecht gebreide strepen met scherpe overgangen. Aan de duimzijde loopt een verticale streep.

Het patroon
De handschoentjes zijn dubbelgebreid met een vleugje Frullesk-techniek. In het patroon van 7 pagina’s staat uitgebreid beschreven hoe: de opzet, afkanting, meerderen, overgangen. Gewoon het patroon volgen en dan heb je in korte tijd een paar handige handschoentjes.

Omdat er maar een beetje frullesk voorkomt in dit patroon, heb je geen voorkennis nodig en hoef je ook niet met beide draden op de linkerhand te werken.

Garen
Ga voor effen sokkengaren, 2 x 50 gr. is genoeg voor 2 handschoenen in XL.

The outside shows horizontal stripes in knit. At the colour change you see indentations that give the knit side a padded look. The inside shows you stripes in purl with clean transitions. Both in- and outside show a vertical stripe at the thumbside.

The pattern
The gloves are doube knitted with a hint of Frullesk. In the pattern of 7 pages you find a detailed description of the: cast-on, binding off, increasing, transitions and the hint of Frullesk. Just follow the pattern and before you know it, you will have a pair of handy mittlets.

Since there is only a bit of Frullesk in this pattern, you won’t be needing any foreknowledge of the technique and it’s also possible to knit these when you carry your yarns in both hands (no continental or combined method needed).
