The Collegiate Throw is a great way to celebrate a recent grad headed off to college or your favorite college sports team. Make it in your school colors using worsted weight yarn and a large hook. A fast project to help celebrate your favorite school or team.

I recognize that the traditional granny square is not my original pattern, but rather a public domain technique in the crochet community. Caron One Pound (100% acrylic; 16 oz/453 grams, 812 yards/742 meters per skein) in colors Off-White, Sunflower, Kelly Green, Royalty, and Scarlett. Please note, a full skein was only used for Off-White, the other colors only used partial skeins.
