The stitch used in this pattern is called the waistcoat/knit stitch, it looks very similar to the knit stitch used in knitting. It has a very limited amount of stretch, but results in a very warm and durable fabric. This pattern is worked in the round so you will not need to sew any seams. It is recommended when making this headband that you choose to make one size larger than your measured head circumference size.

For example: If my measured head circumference is 19 in (48.26 cm), I am going to choose a pattern that is at least 1 inch larger than my head size. So I would make the size 21.5 in (54.61 cm).

Teen: 21.5 in (54.61 cm), 23.25 in (59.055 cm), 25 in (63.5 cm), 26 3/4 in (67.945 cm)

Adult: 21.5 in (54.61 cm), 23.25 in (59.055 cm), 25 in (63.5 cm), 26 3/4 in (67.945 cm)
