It’s not slouchy, but not too tight on the top.
If you prefer a slouchier hat, you can simply repeat one more cable rounds. (total 8rounds)

The sample is knitted with Tosh Vintage. Very nice squishy feel with all over cable design. This is a nice warm hat.

YARN

• The gauge shown is St.st. You can use so many different kinds of yarns. The sample hat with Tosh vintage is vey stretchy and good size for women~ men.
• The yardage above is a total of two colors. Gray - 140 yards, Pink - 110 yards.
• If you wish to make a smaller size hat, Light worsted / DK yarn will make a kids size hat. Sport weight yarn will make a little kids size hat.

Optional Tubular CO

The sample hat used Tubular CO method. Starting with long tail 1x1 tubular CO. You can find good Youtube videos if you are not familiar with this method.
