Color-block Holiday Sock 2016
This sock may be just right for knitting during busy times or while traveling. The pattern works up fast, is easily memorized, and if you can read your knitting, can be worked intermittently without needing chart.
Sock is worked toe-up, has a short-row heel with mini-gusset and mini-flap. Lacework on instep and around leg is easy enough for a beginning lace knitter, and can be sparkled up with beads if wanted.
Color choices are endless. Pattern includes brief directions for adjusting sock length and options for toe styles and heel stitch patterns. Links to tutorials are included for most techniques that might be new. Lacework pattern is charted.
Sock in picture is size medium and fits foot with circumference at ball of foot of 8.75 inches (22.2 cm). The sample sock leg length from bottom of heel to top of cuff is 8.25 inches (21 cm). Toe and cuff each measure about (~) 2.25 inches (5.7 cm).
Sizing - Choose sock size based on your actual foot measurement.
