The Color Block Popover is a versatile garment that can be worn most similarly to a light weight poncho. It is comprised of 2 rectangles, including a simple lace insert, that are joined at the shoulders and fastened at the sides with buttons. The given sizes are oversized without being tent-like, allowing for a neat, but relaxed fit. Adjusting sizing is simply a matter of adding stitches on both sides of the lace insert. Knitting is interesting without being attention-demanding, suitable for most levels of competence. Yarn used, fibranatura Kingston Tweed, was chosen for its assortment of nicely coordinating colorways, but any light worsted yarn should come close to gauge. Six skeins (197 yds. each), two of each of the three colors, are required for either size.
