About the wrap

This wrap is knitted from the top-down. Starting with a garter tab.

When the garter tab is done, the pattern repeat is only 2 rows.
You only knit with one color at the time in the two colored section.

This wrap is therefore VERY easy to knit. -And there are no purl stitches.

I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing the wrap.

If you want to turn the wrap into a shawl, you can simply knit it bigger. -But remember, you will need more yarn to make it bigger.

Sizes:

The wrap will measure: 144 cm/56½” from tip to tip and be 64 cm/25¼ ” deep.

Gauge:

In pattern: 15 st and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4” x 4” on 4,5 mm/US 7 needles.

Materials:

La Bien Aimee: Merino Singles, 100% Merino, 100 g, 366m (400 yds)
1 skein of color 1 ( light color ) and 2 skeins of color 2 ( darker color ).

The yarn is held double ( 2 ends of 1 color used as 1 yarn).

I used the following colors:
Tulieres as the light color and The Shire as the dark color.

Needles:

4.5 mm/ US 7, 80 or 100 cm circular needle.

2 stitchmarkers is used.

Om tørklædet

Tørklædet strikkes fra toppen og ned. Der startes med et lille retstrikket rektangel, som masker samles op i.

Når maskerne er samlet op, består mønsteret kun af 2 pinde og du strikker kun med 1 farve ad gangen i den 2-farvede del af tørklædet.

Tørklædet er derfor SUPER nemt at strikke og der er INGEN vrangmasker overhovedet.

God fornøjelse med at strikke og bruge tørklædet.

Hvis du vil strikke et sjal i stedet for et tørklæde, fortsætter du bare med at strikke, indtil du synes, det er stort nok. HUSK: At købe mere garn, hvis du vil strikke et større sjal.

Størrelse:

144 cm/56½” fra spids til spids og 64 cm/25¼ ” fra top til bund.

Strikkefasthed:

I mønster ( Mønster pind 1 og 2 ): 15 m og 30 p = 10 x 10 cm/4” x 4”, med 4,5 mm/US 7 pind.

1 nøgle farve 1 ( lys farve ) og 2 nøgler farve 2 ( Mørkere farve ).

Der strikkes med 2 tråde af garnet.

Jeg brugte følgende farver:

Tulieres, som den lyse farve og The Shire, som den mørke farve.

Strikkepinde:

4.5 mm/ US 7, 80 or 100 cm rundpind for at få plads til maskerne.

2 maskemarkører bruges også.
