Color Me Pretty Hat
‘Color Me Pretty’ hat is my third design in the series of the bright and fun Fair Isle garments that I have been making for my daughter Maya.
The colorwork is simple enough for a beginner, yet interesting enough for a seasoned knitter as well. The hat is worked
entirely in the round from the bottom up.
The Fair Isle design lends itself to many possibilities of various color combinations; my version is just one of them. You can work with as little as one contrast color or with as many as you would like.
You can also make your hat with any variegated DK yarn and see the colors unfold as they may, or you can knit your hat without color work in a solid or a semi-solid color for a classy slouchy look.
