It was love at first sight, when I came across Caron X Pantone color combinations. I picked up a few, without a particular project in mind. Bulky yarns are not my first pick for color-work hat so I wanted something without too much carry, and smooth color changes. Stranded Color-work is an easy alternative to Fair Isle knitting – and great for beginning with color-work.

This hat is a fitted slouch. It is intended to be a bit tall, but you can remove additional solid colored rows if you would like a shorter beanie.
