Color of Rain
Love the look of short rows but hate all that counting? This pattern uses marking pins to eliminate the counting. Row gauge is extremely important in this pattern. This is a short row, sideways knit tunic finished with an a shell stitch border that mimics the scalloped lower edge.
The raindrops are knit in a contrasting, color change yarn, with each raindrop using approximately 25 yards (400 yards total). A solid or tonal is recommended for the main body, using approximately 800 - 1000 yards. Because of the sideways construction, use the recommended yarn or a yarn with little drape to avoid stretching.
Size C or D crochet hook is used in the finishing.
Small fits bust 32-35
Medium fits bust 36-40
Large fits bust 41-46
