Dark winter days filled with bitter cold, not even a sliver of blue sky can be found. Ennui sets in and tints everything in an film of gray. Picking up the knitting needles can be a challenge and the only solution to shaking off the angst is bright colors worked into a quick gratification project. Color Shot Mitts meets all those requirements and also offers a variety of modifications, creating an almost “Choose Your Own Adventure” environment, certain to chase away apathy and gloom.

There are multiple ways to knit and customize these mitts to fit your taste! The first decision you’ll face is if you want to knit bottom up or top down. Along with the options of functional buttons or a closed cuff, you’ll choose between a gusset for your thumb or if you want the mitts to be the perfect gusset-less layer over your gloves.

Be sure to read through the entire pattern to decide which combination of options is best for you.

Please Note: This pattern was designed with the Ringmaster 50 gram gradient cakes in mind. To recreate this look, please purchase two 50 gram gradient cakes for all sizes.
