Color Square Cardigan is a beautiful cardigan with long sleeves and an intriguing square pattern in intarsia knitting. The cardigan features a V-neck and is knitted with Handdyed Mohair Bouclé for the base color and Handdyed Fat Mohair for the pattern, we used 10 different pattern colors, but it would also be obvious to use even the smallest scraps of Fat Mohair.

The cardigan is knitted from the top down. First, the back and sleeves are knitted with short rows to shape the shoulders, followed by binding off the sleeve stitches until only the body stitches remain. Then, it is knitted straight down and finished with a ribbed edge. Now, the front edge and front pieces, including the sleeves, are knitted starting from the center back. First, the neck edge is knitted, and then stitches are picked up along the sleeve/shoulder. Short rows and sleeve binding off are worked as on the back, while the V-neck is shaped with increases. Finally, the side and sleeve seams are sewn, and the sleeves are finished with a ribbed edge.
