I lived in Texas for 13 years, but now call Colorado home, so adding this pattern to my Fly the Flag pillow collection, seemed the natural thing to do!!

I designed this simple to knit 12” x 16” cushion cover using worsted/#4 yarn. With just knit and purl stitches, this pattern is great for a beginner. The body of the pillow is knit first with the yellow circle and red “C” knit separately and sewn in place.

Instructions are written line by line, no chart to follow, with tips on the use of intarsia - how to change the colors on each row.

The pillow cover has an envelope closure secured with three buttons allowing for easy removal to change your décor or for hand washing.
