Colorado Love Hat
This hat is a beautiful fun pattern to give someone who loves Colorado. As my home state, its a hat I’ve revised and perfected over the years and I feel like I’ve got it just right. Using the silky and squishy Knit Picks Mighty Stitch Worsted yarns allows for a soft drape. Available in 4 sizes, one can be made for anyone! This pattern also uses the very simple colorwork technique called Duplicate Stitch to add the C and heart to the hat, so there is no need to carry floats across the hat or attempt more complicated colorwork techniques.
4 colors of Knit Picks Mighty Stitch worsted weight yarns:
Main body color (MC) – about 50 grams (shown in Navy)
Contrast Color 1 (CC1) – about 50 grams (Shown in White)
Contrast Color 2 (CC2) – about 10 grams (Shown in Serrano)
Contrast Color 3 (CC3) – about 5 grams (Shown in Canary)
Skill Level Needed: Beginner. Working in the round, reading charts for duplicate stitch colorwork.
