Warm up and brighten winter with a pop of color!

Serving up squishy cables amid contrasting stitches, this fun Colorblock Cable sweater allows for maximum color impact. Two different cable stitches expand the skillset, while it’s easy to choose how colorful the final result will be: create a contrasting body with two color sections, a main color for the ribbing and the garter stitches, and a second color for the cable block. Add contrasting sleeves knit in a main color background with contrasting horseshoe cable, or match the sleeves to the sweater body. Each project will be truly unique due to the endless variety of colors!

Sweater features dropped shoulders and positive ease; it is knitted flat, from the bottom up, before being seamed. It begins with ribbing at the hem followed by garter stitch before the cable block is added. The round neckline can be
left as is bound off for a chill, comfortable vibe, or optionally, picked up and finished in ribbing.

The sleeves feature a reverse stockinette background with a horseshoe cable running up the center, with the option of making the horseshoe cable in a contrasting color.

This is an adventurous beginner knitting. Stitch pattern is written only.
