“Colorblock Cowl” is worked as a tube, using provisional cast on and later graft using Kitchener stitch. You can use 4 colors as the pattern is written or any number of colors you prefer to get the length you want. For the transition of the color, the pattern used HELICAL KNITTING METHOD but you can ignore this method and use any striping method you prefer. This instruction creates a short, one loop cowl, but you can change the pattern to make multiple loops by adding length.

Gauge is not critical

The sample used each 50g ball of Hikoo Kenzie colors, Grey Salt (#1002, A), Elegan (#1025, B), Oceania (#1009, C), Ruapehu (#1022, D)- used 142 grams total approximately 36 grams each color
Kenzie is a DK weight yarn and I used about 120 yards each of 4 colors.

Suggested needle size US 7 (4.5mm), 16” and needed extra same size needle in any length for Kitchener
