This playful colorblock sweater is an ideal autumn layer. The cozy mohair adds a bit of flair to the casual, slightly-cropped silhouette. Basic intarsia is the perfect introduction for a knitter who is new to the technique. #sizeinclusive

Options
You could also use one strand of worsted weight yarn to achieve gauge. While the mohair softens the edges between the colors, eliminating this strand would create more defined blocks of color with crisp edges. (And potentially be lower cost, too!)

Notes

Construction
This intarsia sweater is knit flat from the bottom up. The front panel and back panel are knit separately, then joined at the shoulders. The sides are seamed from hem to underarm. Stitches are picked up for the neckline and knit in the round to create a folded collar. Then, stitches are picked up around the armhole edge and the sleeves are knit in the round.
