I want you to succeed in making this blanket and Love It. Stitches used are Chain, Single Crochet, and Double Crochet. Instructions are also given for the border. Pattern repeat is included so that it can be made virtually any size. The multi-color arches blanket measures 24” wide x 32” long (61cm x 78 cm). It was made with Caron Simply Soft Yarn, Medium (4) Weight Yarn. I used an “H8/5mm” hook (recommended hook on the label). I used a total of 14 oz. of yarn was used. I used the colors I had in my stash already.

The Blue blanket measures 30” wide x 36” long (76 cm x 91 cm). It was made with Bernat Softee Baby Stripes yarn. Light (3) weight yarn. I used a “G6/4mm” hook (recommended hook on the label). Each skein of yarn was 4.2 oz/120g. Three skeins were used for a total of 12.6oz/360g. It was started with a chain of 126. This was a nice way to have a colorful blanket with minimal ends to weave in.

If you are like me you choose a blanket by the stitch/pattern first and not the size. Did you ever see a stitch you really Love but it for a baby blanket pattern and you want to make a large afghan?
