Colorful Mile a Minute
This listing is for a PDF Crochet Pattern, in Standard US TERMS.
Skill Level: EASY.
All my patterns are carefully written and tested and they accompany you step by step during the whole execution with many photograps and extra notes. This simplifies the execution of all parts and is mainly dedicated to beginners.
THIS IS A REMAKE OF A +15 Y.O. BLANKET.
Gauge is not important: the pattern is made
to adapt to any size of hooks and yarns.
My friend Karen R. and her beautiful works at crochet
inspired me to write the model of my old blanket.
And this pattern is dedicated to her.

«This coverlet is simple to make, colorful, cheerful.
Very versatile, it can be used on the bed or on the couch,
on the chairs in the garden or in the car
and it will always be a bright and colorful spot
that will grab everybody’s eyes.
It is a blanket of the kind Mile-A-Minute: is formed by
four panels joined together during the last round.
Each panel is worked around the starting chain of shells
(here in color Powder Pink) for 10 rounds
and has its own sequence of colors;
the colors change at each round and the sequence is different
from panel to panel.
It will allow you to use even leftovers yarn.
The explanation will take you step by step in the execution.
There are 15 colors to choose from.
I’ve mainly used yarn leftovers in the rounds with arches,
which requires few yards/meters each.
For all the rounds with dc(s) I’ve used from 50g to 150g
for each color (from 1.76oz to 5.29oz).
Sorry, I don’t remember the exact yardage because
I made this blanket more than 15 years ago.
You can start with 50g/1.76oz for each color,
and see which of them you will need to add.»
The 23 pages of this PDF include:
30 pictures as photo-tutorials,
a very accurate pattern section,
the list of the original color-palette used,
two suggested sewings methods to join the panels.
