Colorful Potholders
by Amy Solovay
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
I originally designed this pattern using Peaches & Creme yarn. When the colors I used were discontinued, I switched the suggested yarn for this pattern to Knitpicks Simply Cotton worsted. Then those colors were discontinued, too. So now I’d suggest using Cascade 220 wool yarn for this pattern -- but Please feel free to substitute any comparable wool or cotton yarn you like.
You’ll need both a Tunisian crochet hook and a regular crochet hook for this pattern.
The body of the potholder is worked in afghan stitch and the edging is worked in single crochet. Finishing details are added in surface crochet.
There is a coordinating color mix dishcloth pattern available for free, too.
