Colorida Mittens
These cheerful colour work mittens were inspired by old Portuguese tiles.
They are worked bottom up in the round on DPNs. The cuff is worked in 1x1 rib. The thumb is constructed with an afterthought method. Symmetrical decreases form a wedge shape for the top of the mittens.
Yarn: West Yorkshire Spinners Solids 4ply, one skein each in Blueberry bonbon, Cayenne Pepper and Turmeric.
Needles: 2.5 mm DPNs set of 5
Gauge: 32 sts and 44 rounds to 10 cm (4 inches) using the charted pattern and measured in the round.
This pattern includes charted and written instructions.
